Please join us for a fun-filled educational family event packed with interesting, hands-on activities and displays focusing on water conservation. This year's theme focuses on Water & Food Security and we'll highlight how much of our water is tied up in food production. We'll have live frogs and toads, children’s crafts, exhibits, displays and more!
The day ill kick off with a Kayak Lagoon Clean Up from 10am-noon-participants must have their own boats and sign up by calling Terry at 760-804-1969 or emailing info@aguahedionda.org. We will be meeting at the foot of Bayshore at 10am to begin getting our lagoon clean!

About the World Water Day Festival
In March 2007, the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation hosted its 1st Annual Water Day Festival in conjunction with International World Water Day festivities held all over the world. For 5 years in a row the AHLF has hosted this festival – one of the only venues in San Diego County to celebrate this important event - designed to bring awareness to both local and global water issues facing the world today. The AHLF Water Festival is a fun and educational event where San Diegans of all ages can learn sustainable practices for the use our limited water resources.
