Exit I-5 at Cannon Road and go east 1.3 miles to Faraday. The Discovery Center is at the corner of Cannon and Faraday.
what: The Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation will participate in this annual nationwide event designed to bring awareness to the importance of the world’s pollinators. A Proclamation issued by U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack designates June 22-28 as the third National Pollinator Week.
The schedule of day time events at the Discovery Center for Pollinator week is as follows:

discussing the honeybee crisis
live hummingbirds (Saturday only)
Bats and Pollination display (Saturday only)
live caterpillar metamorphosis (every day)
honeycomb candle crafts (every day)
pollinator face-painting (every day)
pollinator crafts, games and movies (every day)
admission: Free for members of the Agua Hedionda LagoonFoundation. All others, $2 per child per day.
