Stewardship Teacher: We are looking for a seasonal part-time teacher for our Enrichment and Summer Camps. Our program offers hands-on, interactive learning for kids in TK-6th grade. Curriculum is tailored around STEAM concepts and environmental stewardship. They learn about the history of the lagoon, watersheds, animal adaptations, native plants, pollution, climate, science, and more. Camps typically run Monday-Friday anytime between 9am-4pm. Teachers are required to set-up and clean-up as well as check-in and check-out. In Fall 2021, this job can transition into a part-time teacher for our Academy for Environmental Stewardship field trip program. Our program offers hands-on, interactive field trips for primarily third and fourth graders but we also serve preK-2nd grade on occasion. During their field trips, students rotate through a series of four or five rotations in small groups. The field trips run from 9:30-1:15 pm Monday-Friday pending on bookings. Teachers are required to set-up and clean-up their lesson as well as help welcome the students upon arrival. They are required to be prepared for each lesson with the provided curriculum.
