This year’s Kids Gala 2023 provides a special opportunity to be a part of a permanent beautification mural at Agua Hedionda Lagoon Discovery Center. The custom mural will be a mounted compilation of your colorful and unique painted tiles.

This beautiful work of art will be unveiled for the first time at the Kids Gala on August 25th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. You can participate in this special event by purchasing a Kids Gala ticket that includes a 6x6 inch tile (see ticket pricing for tile bundles and individual pricing).  

Tiles will be painted at the Discover Center of Aqua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation every Friday from June 9th to August 4th (except Friday, July 7) from 2:30pm to 4:00pm. Kids, adults, and family members are welcome to join in on the fun. Additional tiles are available to purchase. Tiles must be completed by August 4th to allow time to fire, glaze and mount.
