Welcome to the Lagoona Kahuna Clean Up Challenge (LKCC), a thrilling adventure tailor-made for families to bond, have a blast, and make a positive impact on our environment! Join us as we embark on an unforgettable journey filled with teamwork, laughter, and environmental stewardship along the stunning shores of Agua Hedionda Lagoon.

Refund Policy: 

Through March 31st: 10% cancellation fee

April 1st through - April 10th: 50% cancellation fee

April 11th - May 4th: 100% cancellation fee

Note: T-shirt sizes are due on Friday, April 19th. Any tickets purchased after that date will still receive a shirt but we cannot guarantee the preferred size.

Gather your team for a quick, fun, and easy photo or video to showcase how you're gearing up for LKCC! Send it over to Erin.Hardin@AguaHedionda.org for an extra boost of 30 points for a video or 20 points for a photo. That's an additional 20-30 pounds of trash you won't have to worry about picking up to outshine the other teams! Remember, these submissions aren't meant to be professional – just grab your phone and have a blast!


Submit a video = Your team will be awarded 30 extra points

Submit a photo = Your team will be awarded 20 extra points


Rules:

  • Submit your photo or video to Erin.Hardin@AguaHedionda.org by Sunday, March 31st.
  • Choose either a video or photo – not both.
  • Keep videos under 1 minute in length.
  • Ensure your photo or video is PG-rated (no inappropriate language or gestures).
  • Feel free to include as many team members as you like.
  • The theme for your photo or video should be "Getting Ready For Lagoona Kahuna."

*Division I – $2,000 – compete for the title of BIG KAHUNA and the AHLF Big Kahuna Paddle and wall plaque.
*Division II – $1,500 – compete for the title of LITTLE KAHUNA and the AHLF Little Kahuna Paddle and wall plaque.
Division III – see above – compete for the title of MINI KAHUNA and wall plaque at the Discovery Center.
