Sponsorship & Partnership

Support the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation through Event Sponsorship and Annual Partnership!

The Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation (AHLF) offers hands-on environmental education for all ages and abilities, fostering an inclusive and welcoming space in nature. Through event sponsorships and annual partnerships, supporters help make our impactful community events possible while connecting their brand with AHLF and reaching our engaged audience through email, social media, and in-person attendance.

Event Sponsorship

Event Sponsorship offers benefits tied specifically to one individual event. These may include sponsor logo placement on event invitations and promotional materials, a linked logo on the event webpage, event tickets, and recognition during the program.

Annual partnership

Annual Partnerships provide year-round benefits and ongoing visibility with AHLF. Partners may be recognized on our website’s Recognition page, included on official AHLF letterhead, invited to behind-the-scenes tours, and receive tickets and opportunities to engage across multiple events throughout the year.

EVENT SPONSORSHIPS

WHERE DO YOUR SPONSORSHIP/PARTNERSHIP DOLLARS GO?

An integral part of our primary mission is teaching environmental education to our future lagoon stewards, through interactive hands-on exhibits and experiences. We accomplish this through a variety of facets:

Education, Exhibits and Events:

New exhibits and educational items keep the Discovery Campus learning experience relevant, fresh and, vibrant. Our unique events,
festivals and outreaches allow us to give back to the community while raising friends, funds, and awareness.

Sponsorship dollars provide transportation to and from school sites, and craft supplies for young stewards to take their learning experience home.

Education and School Field trips

  • Over 62,000 individuals served through hands-on, excellent environmental education
  • 8,526 students through the Academy for Environmental Stewardship School Program

outreach

  • Adult learning/rehabilitation-work groups
  • Annual corporate outreaches
  • 5,965 volunteers

Events and Exhibits

  • 12 events and 25 daily exhibits

Critter, Native Garden and Trail Care

All our animals have different stories, but the majority are rehoused from community members or have been found in the wild, and the Discovery Campus becomes their new family.

Our Native Garden and Trails are able to flourish due to the help of volunteers and it demands much more than they can provide alone.

Sponsorship dollars keep our critters happy, healthy and provided for while our Native Garden as well as our Trails receive fresh ground cover, removal of invasive species, and re-planting of area’s that have been hard-hit by drought and erosion.

Native Garden and Trail Care

  • 600 different types of plants in our ecosystem
  • 3.1 miles of public access easements
  • 132 acres of open space in the Coastal Zone
  • Algerian Sea Lavender removal (an invasive species) in partnership with USFWS

Critter care

  • 35+ animal ambassadors who call the Discovery Campus home

We invite you to INVEST in this “taste of nature” outreach.
