Stories of Daily Community Impact
Eleven years ago, 9-year-old Austin visited the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation and posed for a photo alongside one of our animal skulls. Today, Austin is 20, and his family shared this special memory with us along with a photo of the exhibit today. While much can change over the years, the curiosity sparked by connecting with nature can last a lifetime. Moments like these remind us why creating meaningful, hands-on experiences for children and families is so important. The kids exploring our Discovery Campus today are creating memories they may carry with them for years to come. We are grateful to Austin and his family for sharing this wonderful full-circle moment with us.
